29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) On or about 6/19/13 in the car wash equipment area; employees move, empty, fill and insert pumping equipment into containers of corrosive liquids, such as but not limited to, Rage Plus ( corrosive pH <1 ) Pass 2 ( corrosive pH 14) Dust Buster ( corrosive pH 13.5 ) , with a garden hose as the only suitable facility immediately available to flush their eyes or body parts should they contact these liquids. 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv): Flexible cords and/ or cables were used for purposes prohibited by paragraphs (A) through (F) of 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv) a) On or about 6/19/13 in the wash equipment area; two cord sets, one yellow and one orange, plugged into separate outlets, with one cord set plugged into an another cord set, ran along the outside edge of the wooden stairs, attached under the first step of the wooden stairs, and fed through a hole in the block wall to supply power to decorative lights in the car wash tunnel, exposing employee to contact with energized electrical equipment.
