29 CFR 1926.856(a): Floors or working surfaces were not of sufficient strength to support the imposed load of mechanical equipment: a) 916 South DuPont Highway, Dover, DE - An employee was operating a 70,000 pound Case Excavator and placed it on a working surface that was not of sufficient strength to support the load. This caused the working surface to collapse and the excavator to roll on its side into the basement which exposed the employee to an unsafe condition. This violation was observed on or about May 31, 2013.
