Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation.  The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful.  The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citations.

29 CFR 1910.169(b)(3)(iv): Safety valve on compressed air receiver was not tested at frequently regular intervals to determine if it was in good operating condition:  At the time of the inspection, the employer had no record of any tests for the pressure relief vavle installed on the air receiver.   Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation.  The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful.  The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citations.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:   At the time of the inspection, the LG lathe was operated without a guard to prevent exposure to rotating parts and flying chips when machining steel parts.    Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation.  The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful.
