(a) On June 27, 2013, at a job site located at 4220 Main St, Kansas City, MO., The Employer did not ensure that employees of MPS Contracting, LLC were protected from serious injuries, in that the workers used a scaffold platform to access the upper work area was approx. 3 feet below the point of access. Abatement certification for this violation is not required.

(a) On June 27, 2013, at a job site located at 4220 Main St, Kansas City, MO., The Employer did not ensure that employees of MPS Contracting, LLC were protected from serious injuries, in that the workers used the mobile scaffold on north side of the work area that was not enclosed on all open sides of the work platform. Fall hazard was approx. 10 to 11 feet to the concrete surface below. Abatement certification for this violation is not required.
