29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4): Work rest(s) on grinding machinery were not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one eighth inch:   a)  Maintenance shop, 1100 Sixth Avenue, Neptune, NJ:  The employees in the maintenance shop use a Dayton 8 inch wheel bench grinder that had a work rest that was greater then one eighth from the work rest to the grinding wheel, observed on or about 6/26/13.    NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
