29 CFR 1910.272(j)(1): The employer did not develop and implement a written housekeeping program that established the frequency and the method(s) determined best to reduce accumulations of fugitive grain dust on ledges, floors, equipment, and other expose a) On July 10, 2013, the employer failed to maintain, implement, and develop a written housekeeping program. The housekeeping activities occur in the bins, the roasting shop, and in the load/unload areas. The facility has 7 employees that regularly work in these areas. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED

29 CFR 1910.272(m)(3): A certification record maintained of each inspection by the employer in the grain facility was not in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.272(1): a) a) On July 10, 2013, Employer did not provide certification of the preventative maintenance inspections. Employees conducted the maintenance activities but did not maintain the certification records for the activities. Equipment to be inspected included mechanical and safety control equipment associated with dryers, dust collection equipment, and bucket elevators. The preventative maintenace activities occur in all area of the facility. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED
