29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1):          Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (Construction Reference: 1926.59)     a) Upper Roof Level: Employees using adhesives that contained chemicals including but not limited to Toluene were cleaning the roof surface without being provided information nor training, on or about 7/8/2013.     MJ and Sons Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 764101, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/23/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 120 Hoboken Rd., East Rutherford NJ 07073.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):     Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system.     a) Upper roof level: Employees without any means of fall protection were engaged in roofing work and exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 20 feet onto an asphalt driveway, on or about 7/8/2013.     MJ and Sons Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 764101, citation number 01, item number 05 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/23/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 120 Hoboken Rd., East Rutherford NJ 07073.
