29 CFR 1910.95(c)(1): The employer did not administer a continuing, effective hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.95(c) through (o) whenever employee noise exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 decibels measured on the A scale, or equivalently a dose of fifty percent:    For employees working in the shop located at 2812 Tallevast Rd, Sarasota FL 34230:      a.  Employee 1, doing welding and grinding on structural iron beams over the PEMB table next to the safety office was exposed to continuous noise levels at 120.7% of the Action level (8-hour time weighted average sound level of 85 dBA) during a 448 minute sampling period on August 7th, 2013; exposure calculations included a zero increment for the 32 minutes not sampled.    b.  Employee 2, operating the automated twin submerged arc welder was exposed to continuous noise levels at 118% of the Action level (8-hour time weighted average sound level of 85 dBA) during the 452 minute sampling period on August 7th, 2013; exposure calculations included a zero increment for the 28 minutes not sampled.
