29 CFR 1910.242(a): The employer did not ensure that employees were furnished with tools and equipment that were in a safe condition: On or about and times prior to August 8, 2013 the employer failed to inspect and replace hand tools that employees were assigned to use near the astro-brac machine work bench area. Wooden handle hammers and a poly resin handle mallet sledge hammer head was cracked and damaged exposing employees to struck by and flying debris from hammers or materials when used.
