29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i): Live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental contact by approved cabinets or other forms of approved enclosures, or other means listed under this provision: Instance #1 On or about 7/31/2013, Point Pleasant Villas Owner's Association, 6600 Estate Smith Bay, St Thomas - Reverse Osmosis plant area: Employees were using an electrical panel where unused openings were not effectively closed, therefore, live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental contact. Instance #2 On or about 7/31/2013, Point Pleasant Villas Owner's Association, 6600 Estate Smith Bay, St Thomas - Reverse Osmosis plant area: Employees were using an open electrical condulet where unused openings were not effectively closed, therefore, live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental contact. Note for instances #1, #2: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item since it was submitted prior to citation issuance. Please disregard the abatement date.
