[58 FR 35152; June 30, 1993] a. Micronesian Mall, ground level, "Laguna Beach" remodel - Noted on or about 8/13/13 and at times prior thereto, an employee was working at a construction site barefoot. Power tools and hand tools were being used and sharp edged materials were on the walking/working surface.

29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person: a. Micronesia Mall, ground level, "Laguna Beach" remodel - Noted on or about 8/13/13 and at times prior thereto, employee(s) use hand hand tools such as wrenches and hammers and power tools such as but not limited to a circular saw. An employee was observed working barefooted and an extension cord supplying power to a Ryobi circular saw had insulation pulled away from the female plug.

29 CFR 1926.416(e)(1): Worn or frayed electric cords or cables were used: a. Micronesian Mall, Lower, level, "Laguna Beach" remodel - Noted on or about 8/13/13 and at times prior thereto, an extension cord's outer insulation was pulled away from the female plug. The cord supplied power to a 110 VAC Ryobi circular saw.
