29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: (a) Building #2, On or about August 21, 2013, employees throughout the construction site were exposed to struck-by hazards when not wearing hard hats, while other employees were working above on the second level balcony unloading the stacks of drywall. (b) Building #13, On or about August 21, 2013, employees throughout the construction site were exposed to struck-by hazards when not wearing hard hats, while other employees were working above on the pump jack scaffold using pneumatic nail guns for installing the exterior siding.
