29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest system. At the location of 1911 E. Kansas Plaza in Garden City KS., employees engaged in roofing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 30 feet from the eave to the ground below. The employees were exposed in that complete fall protection systems (such as lanyards) were not in place to keep them from falling.
