29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: This violation most recently occurred on August 23, 2013, at a workplace located at 5555 N. Jim Miller Road, Dallas TX, 75228; where at least two (2) employees were working from the building that had an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet or more above a lower level, not protected from falling in the following instances: a. The overhang of the restaurant building drive through window service under construction; b. The south parapet of the restaurant building under construction. CLEBURNE SHEET METAL WAS PRECVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1) OR IT'S EQUVALENT, WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 312121882, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM 01, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS FINAL ORDER ON JULY 28, 2010 WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 4846 HATCHER STREET, DALLAS, TEXAS 75210.
