29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) Jobsite, Lot #420 Jonaglod Drive, Canonsburg, PA: On or about August 21, 2013, two employees were working on a residential roof and they were not protected from falling. The fall hazard to the two employees was approximately 27 feet to the ground. The Reginaldo Morales Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29CFR1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 915542, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/14/2013, with respect to a workplace located at #8 Unit Bayberry Road, Canonsburg, PA.

29 CFR 1926.503(c)(3): When the employer has reason to believe that any affected employee who has already been trained does not have the understanding and skill required by paragraph (a) of this section, the employer shall retrain each such employee: (a) Jobsite, Lot 420 Jonagold Drive, Canonsburg, PA: On or about August 21, 2013, employees who were exposed to an approximate 27 foot fall hazard while working on a roof of a residential home, needed to be retrained so that they retain the knowledge and skill required to minimize the fall hazards while working on a roof. The Reginaldo Morales Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29CFR 1926.503(c)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 915542, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/14/2013, with respect to a workplace located at #8 Unit Bayberry Road, Canonsburg, PA.
