On September 12, 2013 employees were not protected from a fall during steel erection activities, exposing employees to a fall hazard of over 30 feet. Quinco Steel, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1)which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312594328, citation number 02, item number 02 and was affirmed as a final order on October 13, 2009, with respect to a workplace located at Michigan Ave. Bridge over Chicago River. Chicago, IL.      Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
