29 CFR 1926.304(d): Portable, power-driven circular saw(s) were not equipped with a guard above and below the base plate or shoe: a) At Lot # 260, Sylvaner Lane, Atlanta, GA, GA- The employer was using a DeWALT 14" Chop Saw (Model: D28715, Serial: 195857) with a wood shim that prevented the lower guard from returning automatically to the blade covering position, exposing an employee to laceration and amputation hazards while cutting bricks.
