29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: On or about September 24, 2013, in the manufacturing area, the employer does not ensure that periodic inspections of each energy control procedure are conducted at least annually by an authorized employee. The periodic inspection for the Coal Slag dryer was not concucted annually by an authorized employee to ensure that the procedure and the requirements of the standard are being followed. U.S. Minerals, LLC, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.147(c)(6)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313030637, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on August 20, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 3860 Peters Road, Harvey, LA.
