29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about September 27, 2013 at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing commercial roofing operations on a steep slope roof approximately 10.8 feet above ground were not protected from falls, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards. Coleman Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 108725, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on February 22, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 17725 Volbrecht Rd,. Lansing, IL. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
