29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Addition, Second Floor - On or about 07/29/2013, carpenters were not provided with fall protection and exposed to a 21 foot fall while framing the exterior walls of the second story of an addition to a house. b) First Floor - On or about 07/29/2013, laborers were exposed to a tripping hazards produced by a 11 inch by 13 inch floor hole that was left uncovered. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
