29 CFR 1926.501(b)(3): Each employee in a hoist area was not protected from falling 6 feet (1.8m) or more to lower levels by guardrail systems or personal fall arrest systems: a) Jobsite: 20 3rd Street, Roof - Two employees in a hoist area were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 50 feet while assisting in landing a load of construction material within approximately three feet from an unprotected edge. The employees were not protected from falling by guardrail systems or personal fall arrest systems. Observed on or about 10/17/2013.
