29 CFR 1910.212(a)(2): Machine guard(s) on machine(s) were so installed that they offered accident hazards in themselves: On or about August 22, 2013 at worksite 600 N. Main Street in Warrensburg, Missouri- Employee was exposed to serious caught in injuries created by the M72 paper/cardboard baler guard, in that the barrier guard was installed in such a manner that it created an accident in the upward travel action of the guard. As a result, an employee was injured when he placed his left arm in the danger zone of the machine. Abatement certification for this item is not required.
