29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut: (a) On or about September 18th, 2016, at the facility located at 801 W. Young Ave, Warrensburg, MO., employees were exposed to serious injuries to their hands and fingers, in that the employer did not ensure that the Delta Shop Master Table Saw Serial# 054795 was provided with an adjustable hood guard that fully enclosed the saw blade above the table and the material being cut. Abatement certification for this violation is not required. - Employer had removed saw from service and the facility.

Young Ave, Warrensburg, MO., employees were exposed to serious injuries to their hands and fingers, in that the employer did not ensure that the Delta Shop Master Table Saw Serial# 054795 was provided with a spreader device to prevent material from squeezing the saw blade or from throwing material back at the operator. One employee received serious injuries to his fingers while using a push stick to rip materials without a spreader device installed. Abatement certification for this violation is not required. - Employer had removed saw from service and the facility.

Young Ave, Warrensburg, MO., employees were exposed to serious injuries to their hands and fingers, in that the employer did not ensure that the Delta Shop Master Table Saw Serial# 054795 was provided with an Anti Kick-Back Device to prevent materials from being thrust and thrown back at the operator. One employee received serious injuries to his fingers while using a push stick to rip materials without an Anti Kick-Back Device installed. Abatement certification for this violation is not required. - Employer had removed saw from service and the facility.
