Condition observed on or about 10/24/13.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii): a- 4 Buttel Avenue, Lakewood NJ: Employees, not supplied with fall protection training by the company, were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 23 feet 6 inches to the ground surface below when performing roof sheathing installation and other related activities from a second story roof with a pitch of approximately 10 on 12. Condition observed on or about 10/24/13. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
