29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a- 229 Route 70, Tom's River NJ: Two workers were exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 13 feet 4 inches to the ground surface below, when walking and working at and near unprotected edges of a commercial structure's second floor without the use of fall protection. Condition observed on or about 09/09/22.
