29 CFR 1926.501(b)(12) Each employee engaged in the erection of precast concrete members (including, but not limited to the erection of wall panels, columns, beams, and floor and roof "tees") and related operations such as grouting of precast concrete members, who is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.        The employer does not protect employees from falling when working 6 feet or more above lower levels.  This violation was observed on or about October 29, 2013, on the north side of a hotel where employees were engaged in erecting precast hollow-core panels 6 feet or more above lower levels without a fall protection system.            Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that all employees are protected from falling when working 6 feet or more above a lower level .
