Workers were exposed to a potential 15.0 foot fall hazard in that a proper fall protection system was not utilized.

29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. Workers were observed engaged in commercial construction activities installing a new sign on an existing structure. Worker was exposed to a potential 15.0 foot fall hazard in that the worker was not properly trained in the fall protection criteria and the hazards associated with scaffolding systems.
