General-duty citation text
29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. On or about 4 November 2013, and at times prior thereto, employees working at the air cargo warehouse utilized two sets of controls located at AUSFCARGO1 dock door. In order to operate either set of controls, employees had to stand near an electrical panel that was marked as 240 volts in which there was damage to two cords running into the panel. Both cords had strain relief damage which exposed the employees to an electrical hazard of at least 120 volts or more.
