29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652(b) or 1926.652(c): a) Employees were not protected from the hazard of cave-in while working in a trench measuring approximately 7 feet in depth. B.S. and T. Construction Company Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.652(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315509000, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 22, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at Arlington Heights Road & Dundee Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. B.S. and T. Construction Company Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.652(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314353312, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 13, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 35th Street & Saddlebrook Drive, Oak Brook, IL 60523. B.S. and T. Construction Company Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.652(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312597438, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 19, 2009, with respect to a workplace located at 159th & Ashland Ave., Harvey, IL 60426.
