29 CFR 1926.150(c)(1)(i): A fire extinguisher, rated not less than 2A, was not provided for each 3,000 square feet of the protected building area, or major fraction thereof: At the project on or about November 14, 2013, and at times prior thereto, there was no fire extinguishers onsite. The structure under construction contained about 2538 feet. Onsite, there were pieces of lumber, empty paper bags that had contained cement, and cloth tarps. Potential ignition sources included power saws, electrical equipment, smoking, and vehicles. There were no alternate means to fight fires onsite, such as, 55 gallon drums with water and pails or hoses connected to water sources.
