29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Front and Rear Roof Peak of Structure - Two workers on an 10-12 pitch roof installing lightning protection not protected from falling 30 feet to the concrete ground below, on or about 11/13/2013. For the purposes of this inspection, this employer was determined to be the controlling and correcting employer of the jobsite. The employer is being cited under OSHA's Multi-Employer Workplace Policy.
