29 CFR 1926.51(f)(1): The employer did not provide adequate washing facilities for employees engaged in the application of paints, coating, herbicides, or insecticides, or in other operations where contaminants may be harmful to the employees. Such facilities were not in near proximity to the worksite and were not so equipped as to enable employees to remove such substances: At the project on or about November 19, 2013, and at times prior thereto, there was no soap and no hand towels or other drying methods available. Employees used Professional Coating 700 Exterior Latex Flat House Paint White ACP17 TS728805, and Glidden Interior Premium Paint GLN 6411 Semi Gloss Semi Brilliant Base 1. The warning labels on the product containers say to wash thoroughly with soap and water in the event of skin contact.
