29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(iv): Employees shall always stand firmly on the floor of the basket, and shall not sit or climb on the edge of the basket or use planks, ladders, or other devices for a work position. a. On or about November 20, 2013 - at the above addressed jobsite, an employee performing work operations from a JLG 660SJ Telescopic Boom Aerial Lift worked from the mid and top rail of the boom basket, thereby exposing the employee to fall hazards. METROPOLITAN STEEL, INC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 1926.453(b)(2)(iv), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 315154823, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON MARCH 31, 2011 WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT SOUTHWEST HIGHWAY & RIDGELAND AVE, CHICAGO RIDGE, IL 60415.
