OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employee was exposed to a falling crushing hazard: a)Production Area:Employer failed to require employee to wear restraints while operating a powered industrial truck which was exposed to tipping hazards. Violation occurred on or about 11/21/13. ABATEMENT NOTE:AMONG OTHER MEANS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD WOULD BE FOR THE COMPANY TO RETRAIN AND ENFORCE THE USE OF SEATBELTS.
