29 CFR 1926.501(b)(15): Each employee on a working surface that was 6 feet or more above the lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: (a) On or about November 21, 2013, for an employee exposed to fall hazards of up to approximately 14 feet, 6 inches, while walking exterior top plates to install floor trusses at a commercial construction project located at 5301 27th Street South in Fargo, North Dakota. Note: Bates Framing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 98734, Citation 1, Item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on November 27, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 3908 Bard Avenue in Boise, Idaho. Note: Bates Framing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 97450, Citation 2, Item 1A, and was affirmed as a final order on October 5, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 03, Block 02, Spur wing, Greens Sub division, Tree Farm, Meridian, Idaho.
