29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): The employer did not ensure that exit routes are free and unobstructed with no materials or equipment placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route: a) On 12-2-2013 access to the exit at the front of the store was partly obstructed by an equipment rack, printer, and boxes stacked against the wall. Location: 625 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn NY, N.Y. On or about 12/2/2013 NOTE: BECAUSE THIS ITEM WAS CORRECTED DURING THE INSPECTION THE EMPLOYER IS NOT REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION NOR DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19. BEST BUY WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD, OR ITS EQUIVALENT, 1910.37(A)(3) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 312486251 CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 2, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS FINAL ORDER 1/14/09 WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 642 BALTIMORE PIKE, SPRINGFIELD, PA, 19064.
