29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent) and toe boards. On the south east side of the storage warehouse, an employee without fall protection was retrieving merchandise from the top level of a storage rack was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 12 feet to concrete floor. Best Buy was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.23(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1161958, citation number 001, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 11, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 869 N.E. Mall Blvd., Hurst, Texas 76053.
