Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point of operation guards were not designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of their body in the danger zone during the operating cycle: Manufacturing department, CNC Mazak and Fadal vertical milling machines (a) to (e) and Mazak CNC turning center (f): on or about December 3, 2013, employees operating and setting up CNC mills and a lathe were exposed to amputation and caught-in hazards where the safety interlocks were disabled and by-passed, and other protective measures were not taken when accessing the point of operation and associated danger zone to perform production related work tasks.
