29 CFR 1926.302(c)(2): When fuel-powered tools are used in enclosed spaces, the applicable requirements for concentrations of toxic gases and use of personal protective equipment, as outlined in subparts D and E of this part, shall apply. Jobsite: 340 Saw Mill Road, West Haven, CT. The employer did not take appropriate measures to control and or reduce the airborne concentration of carbon monoxide that was generated from the operation of a gasoline powered concrete metal saw 14" (Part # 0109502725) that was used to cut into the floor inside the building.
