29 CFR 1910.253(b)(4)(iii): Oxygen cylinders in storage were not separated from fuel-gas cylinders or combustible materials (especially oil or grease), a minimum distance of 20 feet (6.1 m) or by a noncombustible barrier at least 5 feet (1.5 m) high having a fire-resistance rating of at least one-half hour: a) At The Metal Burning Station - On or about November 14, 2013, oxygen and liquid propane compressed gas cylinders were stored without a separation distance of at least 20 feet or a noncombustible barrier at least 5 feet high and fire-resistance rated for at least 30 minutes, exposing employees to fire and burn hazards. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
