29 CFR 1926.150(c)(1)(vi): A fire extinguisher was not provided within 50 feet of wherever more than 5 gallons of flammable or combustible liquids or 5 pounds of flammable gas were being used on the jobsite: (a) 1100 block of E Columbus Ave Springfield, MA: On or about December 11, 2013, the employer did not provide any fire extinguisher at this construction site where they had in excess 20 gallons of gasloine/diesel fuel in 5 gallon metal gas cans along two 100LB propane cylinders, which is not in accordance with this subpart: Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).
