OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that repair technicians were exposed to crushing and struck-by hazards while working adjacent to and under vehicles raised by automotive lifts while the lift had not been lowered onto the locking latches.      (a) Lift 32: On December 16, 2013 and at times prior, a worker was exposed to crushing and struck-by hazards when he walked under a vehicle elevated by a Rotary Model SPOA10, while the lift mechanism was several inches above the locking latches.      (b) Recon Bay 4: On December 16, 2013 and at times prior, a worker was exposed to crushing and struck-by hazards when he performed vehicle servicing directly adjacent to a vehicle elevated by a Rotary Model SL29, while the lift mechanism was several inches above the locking latches.      (c) Lift 7: On December 16, 2013 and at times prior, a worker was exposed to crushing and struck-by hazards when he performed vehicle servicing directly adjacent to a vehicle elevated by a Rotary Model SPOA10, while the lift mechanism was several inches above the locking latches.
