29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2): Supported scaffold poles, legs, posts, frames, and uprights shall bear on base plates and mud sills or other adequate firm foundation. a. Located at Prairie Norton Elementary School in Galloway, Ohio, employees were performing masonry work from a fabricated frame scaffold without any base plates attached to the scaffold's poles, thereby exposing the employees to any hazard associated with the collapse of a scaffold.
