29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b):   a)  At Columbia Southern University Campus Orange Beach, Alabama:  On or about January 14, 2014 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to walk on top of unsecured trusses without fall protection exposing them to a fall hazard of 27 ft to the concrete floor below.  b)  At Columbia Southern University Campus Orange Beach, Alabama:  On or about January 14, 2014 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employee to work on the top of a framed wall to install go-bolts without fall protection exposing him to a fall hazard of 15 feet to the ground below.  THE WARD CONSTRUCTION WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(13), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 925575, CITATION NUMBER 2, ITEM NUMBER 3 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON DECEMBER 30, 2013, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 6848 GULF SHORES PARKWAY GULF SHORES, ALABAMA  36542 AND ON INSPECTION NUMBER 315194944, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 5, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON MAY 3, 2011 WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 1816 WEST BEACH BLVD, GULF SHORES, ALABAMA .
