29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): Protective face equipment was not required where there was a reasonable probability of injury that could be prevented by such equipment:  (a)     In the gas filling room employees were not required to wear a face shield to protect the face from splashes of chemicals such as methylene chloride when transferring the chemicals from original containers into a bottle for mixing and then pouring that mix into the gas filling panel.
