29 CFR 1910.1026(h)(1): A hazard was present or was likely to be present from skin or eye contact with chromium (VI); however, the employer did not provide appropriate personal protective clothing and equipment at no cost to employees, and/or did not ensure that employees used such clothing and equipment  In Assembly, for employee(s) who used Alodine 600 RTU containing hexavalent chromium, as a chemical treatment to corrosion coat exposed metal on parts, powder free latex gloves were worn.  These gloves are not recommended for use with chromic acid (Ansell Fisher Safety Chemical Resistance Guide Permeation & Degradation Data 8th Edition)

29 CFR 1910.1026(l)(1)(i): Chemical manufacturers, importers, distributors and employers did not comply with all requirements of the Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) (� 1910.1200) for chromium (VI):  In Assembly, for employee(s) who used Alodine 600 RTU containing hexavalent chromium, as a chemical treatment to corrosion coat exposed metal on parts, training on hexavalent chromium had not been conducted.  The employer did not ensure that each exposed employee could demonstrate knowledge of at least the following:  the contents of this section, and  the purpose and a description of the medical surveillance program required by paragraph (k) of this section, and a copy of this section made readily available without cost to all affected employees.
