29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Front, Left Side Roof of Addition - Two workers attaching roof trusses were not protected from falling 9' to the inside level or 25' to the outside scrap materials that were on the ground level below, on or about 1/27/2014. Arta Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent (29CFR1926.501(b)(13)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 915121, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/12/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 2345 Nebraska Avenue NW, Washington DC 20016. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
