29 CFR 1926.452(j)(1): Pump jack brackets, braces, and accessories were not fabricated from metal plates and angles: a) Alum-A-Pole Scaffolding System: On or about December 12, 2013, the employer allowed plywood nailed to the roof as braces for the poles which exposed employees to falls up to 20-feet. b) Alum-A-Pole Scaffolding System: On or about December 12, 2013, the employer allowed plywood nailed to the roof as braces for the poles which exposed employees to being struck by the scaffolding components and other falling objects.
