29 CFR 1910.151(c):  Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:     a)  On or about January 28, 2014, and at times prior, detail employees of both the main detail shop and the body shop were exposed to eye injuries while handling corrosive chemicals such as Auto Magic Spoke Wheel Cleaner and Auto Magic Red Hot without access to a suitable eyewash facility in the immediate area.

29 CFR 1910.23(a)(5): Every pit and trapdoor floor opening was not guarded by a floor opening cover of standard strength and construction.  While the cover was not in place, the pit or trap opening was not constantly attended by someone or was not protected on all exposed sides by removable standard railings:  a)  On or about January 28, 2014, and at times prior, employees were exposed to fall hazards because the ends of the pit openings in the fast lube department were not fully covered.  Floor openings of one to two feet were observed at the ends of the pits because the safety nets in use were not long enough to cover the whole pit.

29 CFR 1910.107(g)(3): Residue disposal. Residue scrapings and debris contaminated with residue were not immediately removed from the premises and properly disposed of. Approved metal waste cans were not provided wherever rags or waste were impregnated with finishing material and all such rags or waste deposited therein immediately after use:   a)  On or about January 28, 2014,  and at times prior, employees were exposed to fire hazards while they worked in the paint department and stored waste and debris which was contaminated with combustible residue from spray finishing operations in an open plastic trash in the paint mixing room.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(i): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the information required by 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(i) through 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(v)   a)  On or about January 28, 2014, and at times prior, several containers of soaps, glass cleaner, and tire cleaner were not labeled with the identity of the hazardous chemicals contained within and information pertaining to the health hazards and necessary precautions associated with the chemicals.  Without such information, employees were exposed to potential overexposure to the chemicals and/or hazardous reactions between incompatible chemicals.
