29 CFR 1910.305(b)(2)(i) is applicable to employment by 29 CFR 1917.1(a)(2)(iv) that incorporates the General Industry Requirement: Each outlet box in completed installations did not have a cover, faceplate, or fixture canopy and pull boxes, junction boxes and fittings were not provided with covers approved for the purpose: On or about January 30, 2014 the inspection revealed the following hazards: (a) Employees were potentially exposed to serious injury from live electrical parts due to a circuit breaker panel that that did not have a cover. The circuit breaker panel was located in the closet storage area adjacent to the upper office at 63275 Charleston Road in Charleston, Oregon. (b) The inspection revealed the main electrical feed junction box did not have a cover. Located above the circuit breaker panel in the closet storage area adjacent to the upper office. (c) Employees were potentially exposed to serious injury from exposed live parts from the electrical outlet that did not have a cover. The outlet was located in the closet adjacent to the upper office. (d) Employees were potentially exposed to serious injury from exposed live parts from the electrical outlet that did not have a cover. The outlet was located next the desk in the upstairs office. (e) The inspection revealed junction box that did not have a cover, located above the desk in the lower office/breakroom area.

29 CFR 1910.305(c)(4) is applicable to employment by 29 CFR 1917.1(a)(2)(iv) that incorporates the General Industry requirement: Faceplates for flush-mounted snap switches. Snap switches mounted in boxes did not have faceplates installed so as to completely cover the opening and seat against the finished surface: (a) On or about January 30, 2014 the inspection revealed that employees were potentially exposed to serious injury from the exposed live parts of the light switch that did not have a cover. The light switch was located in the stairwell leading to the upstairs office.

(a) On or about January 30, 2014 the inspection revealed a splice that was not covered with insulation equivalent to that of the conductors. The splice was located above the electrical outlet in the closet adjacent to the upstairs office.
